Ecole Schools provides the framework, technology and training that founders need to open and run a homeschool, microschool or campus school. Partners join a network rather than starting from zero: the curriculum, the school policies, the student information system, the learning platform and the mentor training already exist and are adapted to your community. Below is what each service covers.

1. Educational Consulting & Network

Strategic consulting for new educational initiatives, from the first idea to an operating school. This includes preparing proposals for educational initiatives — useful if you are applying to a state Department of Education as a charter school — and preliminary building and floor-plan guidance so your space matches the way the model actually works. Joining the network also connects you with other founders and mentors working from the same playbook.

If you are at the very beginning, start with our step-by-step guide: how to start a microschool in the United States.

2. Ecole SIS & LMS Implementation

Implementation and ongoing service support for the two platforms that run an Ecole School day to day:

  • Ecole SIS — the student information system, where student records and school administration live.
  • Ecole LMS — the learning management system that carries the plan → create → present → portfolio cycle, so each student’s work accumulates in one place across the year.

Both are supported by Ecole AI, which acts as a learning coach for students and a support tool for mentors. You can see what this looks like during a normal school day in how Ecole AI works inside.

3. Alternative Learning Content Access

Access to standards-aligned alternative learning content and educational resources. Instead of building a curriculum from scratch, partner schools adopt content that already fits the model and the assessment approach — see the curriculum policy and the assessment and measurement policy for how content, projects and evaluation fit together.

4. Mentor & Teacher Training

Professional mentor and teacher training aligned with the Ecole Schools educational model. Mentors do not deliver a lesson to a room at one pace; they guide individual learning journeys, which is a different skill set and is taught as such. Training covers the model, the platforms, assessment practice and day-to-day mentoring. Our approach to selecting and developing mentors is described in the founder mentor selection policy and the mentor recruitment and development policy.

Educators who want to join the network can apply as a mentor.

5. Digital Infrastructure Services

Website extension development and related digital infrastructure services. Every Ecole School receives a website framework; your responsibility is filling it with your own information, and we handle the technical side around it.

6. Promotion & Marketing Support

Promotion and marketing support for educational initiatives within the Ecole Schools network. Sample promotional brochures are archived and can be produced for you in print and digital form, and digital marketing is managed to bring families to your open house — the event where most enrolment decisions actually start.

7. Investor Promotion & Media Visibility

An optional service for investors and partners: social media management and featured visibility on dedicated sections of the Ecole Schools website. It lets partners present their initiatives, announcements and brand presence to the wider Ecole Schools community.
